How to measure your ring size at home?

This is one of your most common questions. That's why we've prepared these test measuring kits for you to find out the right ring size in the comfort of your own home. It's especially for those of you who are far away and can't make it to a personal appointment. We have these test measuring rings available in a variety of widths and also in both flat inside and rounded (comfort fit type).

Why do we have measuring ring sets in different widths??

In order for your future rings to fit well, the gauge used needs to be as similar as possible to the parameters of your future ring. And the main parameter is its width. A narrow ring behaves and fits differently on your finger than a wide one. In general, a wider ring should be slightly larger than a narrow ring so that it fits comfortably on your finger and doesn't press.

So, if you will be considering a future 7mm wide ring, you should ideally try a 7mm wide gauge ring.

For this reason, you will find gauges from 2 mm wide up to 7 mm wide.

Should I choose a ring with a flat inner side (standard fit) or a rounded one (comfort fit)? 

Generally, rounding inside is recommended for wider rings so that the skin under the ring doesn't wrinkle and sweat too much, but it depends on the type of finger. Everyone fits and suits something a little different and there's nothing like trying it out in person. That's why we've prepared gauges with a flat inner side and comfort fit gauges, i.e. with a rounded inner side.

What measuring ring sizer sets do you find here?

We have prepared two series of test sets for you, one has a flat inner side, the other has a rounded inner side. Each set has a label indicating the width of the gauges and the type of inner side: N = straight inside, CF = rounded inside. Previously, the straight-sided gauges were black and the rounded-sided gauges were grey. This is no longer completely true. We have had to complete the sets and these new ones have different colours.

The gauges with a flat inner side are available in widths from 2 to 7 mm. The gauges with internal rounding (CF) are available in widths from 4 to 7 mm.

There are 28 bands in the set from size 48 to size 75.

For more comfortable testing you can take the gauge off the wire. However, please re-string in the same numerical order. We recommend trying the gauge at different times of the day, as for example, fingers tend to be more swollen in the morning than in the evening. We also recommend trying it over several days, as the weather also has an effect on whether the fingers are more or less swollen.

After trying it out, send the trial sets back to us and we will deduct the price (excluding shipping) from your final ring order. Unfortunately, with regard to customs clearance, this only applies to customers from the European Union.
